While this is a very nice looking gown. I did send it back. The neck opening is so big that it hung off my shoulders. I believe a smaller size would not make a difference. After studying the product picture, I can see that the neckline is oversize and barley on the model's shoulders.Beautiful gown BUT opening so large, would not stay on shoulders.This is such a beautiful nightgown!!! The fabric is lightweight and the loose billowy shape will flatter any figure. I really love the simple, classic design of this nightgown. It makes me feel like I should be haunting the halls of a gothic castle. Very romantic.Regarding sizing, I purchased a large in the cream color. It is a little bit bigger than I expected, but since I was looking for something loose and comfortable, the large works for me. But if you’re looking for something less billowy, I recommend sizing down.I have lived in these gowns for decades. I abuse them in the washer and dryer.Love them and so happy to find them easily.Size does make a difference in the neck size and how they fit!love these gowns. they are light weight you can wear them summmer or winder.
