Description

The fabric in SKINS A200 Men's Thermal Long Sleeve Compression Top is twice as warm as SKINS standard fabric, giving additional warmth when you train and compete in colder weather. SKINS scientifically proven engineered gradient compression improves circulation and oxygen supply to your muscles, helping you to perform better for longer with less fatigue and less post activity soreness. A200 thermal gear is made from a scientifically advanced fabric, developed for SKINS to keep you warm out in the cold without overheating. Our fabric is a blend of Polyamide and Elastin, which combines high pilling and abrasion resistance with excellent breath-ability and a soft feel against your skin. The brushed interior helps to release heat back to your body providing you a thermal advantage in cooler temperatures. The Elastin blend ensures excellent stretch and recovery for optimal compression and unrestricted movement. With SKINS products, compression and comfort go hand in hand. A200 Men's Thermal Long Sleeve Compression Tops are available in a Mock Neck with or without Zipper and also a Round Neck. For additional comfort, the top features underarm ventilation and a silicone gripper at the waist to make sure everything stays in place. SKINS Thermal Compression will keep you performing at your best, longer, stronger, with less fatigue in all cold weather conditions.

I use mine for athletic bicycling, as it provides the best aerodynamics, comfort, and warmth for the money. I've used it alone in 49 degree weather and while it was chilly at startup it proved it's thermal capabilities ten-fold once I got moving. I'm a thin guy and I tend to chill easily, so this gets a 3-thumbs-up for warmth and wind resistance. Also, I haven't experienced the over-tightness that some others seem to have with this garment: the charts pointed toward a medium, which thurned out to be perfect. I am, however, accustomed to tight and compression clothing. Pay close attention to the sizing chart, but if in doubt or you're unaccustomed to compression wear, go a size up (won't be as tight, but will fit fine).Note: the photo does NOT show the vented area in the underarms. Don't be freaked-out when you get them in the mail; those vents keep you drier, which keeps you warmer... Trust me.The only drawbacks I have with this piece are the lack of thumb-locking cuff (one that has a sleeve with a hole at the wrist that will stretch over the thumb to help protect against cold there, many gloves aren't long enough to cover the whole wrist); and the collar feels less snug and shorter than I think it should (a tighter, full turtle-neck collar would be the ideal solution for cold weather aerobics).
